Dr. Mushtaq Bilal's invited article titled, “Yes, I am Joseph Bhatti Choohra:” Reading Joseph Bhatti as a Palimpsest was recently published in the Pakistan issue of Angles: New Perspectives on the Anglophone World. Read more about the publication here.
Dr. Bilal was also invited to present his paper, Pakistani Literature Festivals and Scopaesthesiac Consciousness at this year's annual conference of the American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA) held from 15-18 June. It was part of a seminar titled, Multilingual, Transregional, Comparative Approaches to South Asian Literature, which was organized by Professors Ulka Anjaria and Sangeeta Ray.
