AIPS Vice President Iftikhar Dadi recently published a book titled Lahore Cinema, which examines cinema produced between 1956 and 1969 in Lahore, Pakistan. It examines the historical background during which these films were made and their role in allowing audiences to navigate the rapid modernization of the time, playing an influential progressive role during this time in South Asia.
