Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Panel Support at Annual Conference on South Asia
AIPS has funds to support the organization of a panel at the Annual Conference on South Asia in Madison, WI. This award will support economy, international travel for 1-3 Pakistani scholars to participate in the proposed panel at the Annual Conference on South Asia. The application should include an abstract on the proposed panel, CVs for the international scholars, and a budget. These funds are intended only for the travel of Pakistani scholars to the US and cannot support domestic travel. Please provide a detailed budget in the proposal. Proposed panel applications will be reviewed, however, funds will not be distributed if the panel is not accepted.
To apply, please complete the following steps:
1. Read through the General Submission Guidelines and Panel & Single Paper Submission Guidelines on the Annual Conference on South Asia’s webpage.
2. Register for the conference by April 26, 2020.
3. After registering, submit your Panel Submission through the Annual Conference on South Asia’s online submission portal by 11:59 PM CST, April 26, 2020.
4. Send your application materials to AIPS (aips@pakistanstudies-aips.org) by May 1, 2020.
