AIPS Member Founded 5-Year Borderlines Project

Three hybrid anthologies Borderlines One, Two, and Three that explore parallels between border regions in South Asia and North America have been published by Voices Breaking Boundaries (VBB), a non-profit arts organization. Borderlines, a five-year project, was conceived and directed by writer Sehba Sarwar (AIPS Member), who serves as the organization’s Artistic Director and Founder, while scholars Margot Backus, PhD, and Maria Gonzalez, PhD, served as co-editors. The publications include essays, poems, interviews, and visual art by more than 70 artists and writers including Tehmina Ahmed, Tayeba Lipi Begum, Nandita Bhavnani, Sonya Fatah, Naila Mahmood, Mahbubur Rahman, Bapsi Sidhwa, Noor Zaheer, and many more.
